New Albany schools anchor the 200-acre Learning Community Campus that educates all students, preschool through 12th grade, in one location. With an enrollment of nearly 5,000 students and more than 225 staff members who have earned a Master’s or PhD, the district has received accolades for excellence from the Ohio and U.S. Departments of Education. The district is consistently ranked among the top school districts in the state of Ohio.
Among the innovative programs unique to New Albany schools is its wetlands nature preserve which serves as a living hands-on laboratory for students of all ages and has resulted in the development of a magnet school, attracting students across central Ohio to New Albany for environmental studies. The New Albany Company donated the land for educational purposes.
